Delivery

Orders are usually dispatched the same working day if ordered before 4.00pm. We will email you to notify you that your goods have been dispatched following payment authorisation.

 

If we are unable to dispatch your order in time for Next Day Delivery we will notify you by email.

 

All UK orders are delivered free of charge using Royal Mail Special Delivery, Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery or Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery. All orders delivered by Special Delivery, Recorded Delivery or 2nd Class Recorded Delivery will require a signature upon delivery. Goods cannot be left without a signature. 

 

All orders are fully insured by Royal Mail or Watch Supermarket.

 

If an item is lost, we are unable to send out a replacement or issue a refund until Royal Mail has confirmed the package as lost.  This process can usually take 10 to 15 working days and usually results in the original item being delivered within this timeframe.

 

Once signed for at your delivery address, responsibility of ownership of the goods is yours including risk of loss or damage.

 

If your delivery address is multi-occupied, Royal Mail will accept a signature from anyone in the property as confirmation of receipt. It is your responsibility to ensure that you or a representative is at the delivery address to receive the goods.

 

If a signature is obtained for a delivery and the customer denies receiving it (a denial of receipt) Watch Supermarket must contact Royal Mail to confirm the delivery details. Royal Mail will contact the customer directly to complete their documentation confirming that the goods have not been received. Until we receive confirmation from Royal Mail, we are unable to issue a replacement or process a refund.

 

In the event of a missed delivery, Royal Mail will leave a ‘something for you’ card at your delivery address providing details of how to arrange redelivery or collection of your goods. Royal Mail will hold your goods for 3 weeks, after which they will be returned to us. If goods are returned to us by Royal Mail through fault of the customer, we will offer to redispatch the goods or cancel your order. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to charge the delivery fee for re-dispatch or to deduct our original outbound delivery charge from your refund total if you wish to cancel.

 

Due to exclusive distribution contracts, we are forbidden to despatch Rotary Watches to the following countries: China, Hong Kong, Macau, South Africa, Russia, Australia, South Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Lithuania, Canada and Indonesia. Dreyfuss & Co Watches cannot be dispatched to: China, Hong Kong, Macau, Russia, Israel, Australia, South Korea, Canada, Indonesia and Singapore for the above reason.

 

UK Delivery Service


All UK orders are delivered Free of Charge using Royal Mail Special Delivery, Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery or Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery. All orders delivered by Special Delivery, Recorded Delivery or 2nd Class Recorded Delivery will require a signature upon delivery. Goods cannot be left without a signature.

 

For orders £60.00 and over we use Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service provides automatic compensation cover for loss or damage and guarantees your item will be delivered to you before 1pm the next day.

 

For orders under £60.00 we use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Royal Mail aim to deliver your order the next day although this is not guaranteed.

 

For orders over £25.00 we use Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery; Royal Mail aim to deliver your order the next day although this is not guaranteed.

 

For orders below £25.00 we use Royal Mail 1st Class Standard Delivery; Royal Mail aim to deliver within 1-2 days although this is not guaranteed.

 

For all Ice-Phone and Ice-Clock products (both wall clocks and alarm clocks), we use Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded delivery. Royal Mail aim to deliver your order within 2 to 3 working days, although again this is not guaranteed.

 

Delivery Timescales


Providing your payment is authorised before 4pm, your order will be dispatched the same day and Royal Mail Special Delivery guarantee to deliver your order before 1pm the next working day. Orders placed on Friday before 4pm could be delivered on Saturday, although are not guaranteed to be delivered until the next working day; Monday. Orders placed after 4pm on Friday, or at any time on Saturday or Sunday will not be dispatched until the next working day; Monday. If your Special Delivery item is not received within the specified timescale, we are able to trace the delivery online using the Royal Mail tracking number and we will assist wherever we can to ensure your goods reach you as quickly as possible.

 

Orders sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery should still be delivered the next day although this is not guaranteed. Please allow up to 3 working days.

 

Orders sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery should be delivered within 2 to 3 working days, although this is not guaranteed.

 

Delivery To a Different Address


If you wish to have your order delivered to any other address than your billing address, (eg. your work address) there may be a delay in dispatching your order. At Watch Supermarket, your security is paramount so we perform additional checks in order to receive authorisation from your payment card provider. We may for example telephone/email you to seek further authorisation which can result in delays in dispatch. If we are unable to obtain authorisation to deliver to an alternative address, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option to cancel your order or to have the item billed to your registered billing address.

 

Missed Deliveries


In the event that you are not at your property to sign for the delivery, Royal Mail will leave a ‘something for you’ card. The card explains why they were unable to deliver and how to arrange redelivery or collection from your local sorting office. It is then your responsibility to arrange for your goods to be collected or redelivered. If for any reason the goods are returned to us due to a missed delivery, we will contact you and give you the option to have your order redespatched or cancel your order. If the missed delivery is through fault of the customer, we reserve the right to charge a delivery fee for redespatch or deduct our outward delivery fees from your refund.

 

Late Dispatch/Delivery 


Although we aim to dispatch every order within the specified timescale, certain circumstances may give rise to delay in dispatch. This delay is an unfortunate risk when buying online however we do endeavour to meet our timescales wherever possible. If your item is not dispatched within the specified timescale, we will inform you of this to minimise the inconvenience wherever possible.

 

We use Royal Mail as our delivery partner and are confident in the service they provide, however, there are rare occasions when Royal Mail are unable to meet their delivery timescales. Although this is out of our control, we will try to assist where we are able to ensure you receive your order as soon as possible.

 

We provide our products to you with free UK delivery and as such, you are unable to claim any deduction from the price of your order for delivery cost in the event of a late delivery. Watch Supermarket will not provide financial compensation for consequential loss of any kind.
